Some states are listing nursing homes with coronavirus
USA TODAY reporters requested records from every state on nursing homes and other long-term care facilities with confirmed cases of COVID-19. The responses revealed an inconsistent patchwork that varied state by state. Some provided updated tallies and named specific homes. Some states separated infections among staff from infections among residents. And 18 states did not provide facility-level data at all.
We've taken the information collected through those requests, standardized it and made it as easy to search as possible. Here, you can see the names of some 4,000 nursing homes across the country that have reported at least one case.
