‘Chrisley Knows Best’ star Todd Chrisley hospitalized for days after COVID-19 diagnosis

Reality TV star Todd Chrisley is recovering after testing positive for COVID-19, he and his family confirmed.

The "Chrisley Knows Best" star told fans he contracted the virus during Wednesday's episode of the podcast "Chrisley Confessions" alongside his wife, Julie Chrisley.

"Can we talk about this (expletive) called corona?" he said. "I have been battling corona for three weeks. I was in the hospital for 4 and a half days, fever between 100 to 103 (degrees) and it has been the sickest I have ever been on this earth."

"Hopefully, I will get better every day, but as of right now, folks, I still am not clicking on all cylinders. I am probably about 70 to 75 percent of what I normally I am."

He went in and he was showing all symptoms of COVID-19 so they tested him. Here in TN Vanderbilt (the hospital) was extremely prepared for testing."

Savannah went on to say that her father's days in the hospital were "the hardest 3 days I think I’ve ever endured." She called him her best friend and said they talk often.

"I also never go to bed a single night without a 'Goodnight and I love you' text..and now my dad was sitting in a hospital room by himself and I had no idea how he was," her post continued. "At one point I fell on my hands and knees and begged God to not take him."

Savannah explained the motivation behind her post was to ensure people take the outbreak seriously. "STAY HOME!" she emphasized commanded. "SOCIAL DISTANCE!"
